With the Enigma, Japanese designer Shoichi Uchiyama designed a totally innovative form and design for the traditional chandelier. The design of the Enigma pendant lamp consists of concentric circles, made of acrylic, suspended by ultra-thin wires. This makes the screens appear to float, thus the name Enigma means mystery which refers to this illusion.
